$8.00$12.95

Description

You can now take apart your Glock magazines without marring, gouging, or damaging the metal liner. Works with Gen 1 through Gen 5 magazines for the models listed. Quickly remove dust, powder residue and grime that may hinder reliability and cause failure to feed.

Patented tool that allows you to easily remove the floorplates on Glock magazines. If you’ve ever tried to remove the floorplates on a Glock magazine you know it can be a challenge. Available for 9MM/40S&W (also fits .357 Sig and .45 GAP), 10mm/45acp, and Glock 42/43 magazines. Also available as an integrated system that includes the magazine brush. Magazine brush is also available separately.

To use the 9/40 and the 10mm/45acp GTUL, keep the GTUL flush with the leading edge of the magazine to prevent it from snagging the notch for the mag release. GTUL will work with both standard and extended floorplates, the punch can be used to field strip your Glock and the brush and punch can be used on any double stack centerfire pistol magazine.

* PLEASE READ FOR TEN ROUND CLINTON MAGAZINES *

The technique for these magazines can be slightly different than hi caps. The design makes it difficult to push the reinforcement plate into the mag body more than a quarter of an inch. To start, place GTUL on the mag, then push the punch down and forward of the retaining pin. Squeeze GTUL while keeping downward pressure with the punch. Use the punch and leverage it against the front edge of the retaining pin to slide the floorplate off. I have found some ten round magazines where the punch can be moved side to side and worked down in front of the reinforcement plate. This allows you to disassemble these magazines like a hi cap.

For the Glock 42 magazines keep the open end of GTUL against the back of the magazine while inserting the magazine. This will prevent the inner projections on GTUL from snagging the notch for the mag release. Once GTUL is against the floorplate, push the closed end of GTUL against the leading edge of the magazine to align the projections with the locking tabs of the magazine. To remove GTUL slide the open end against the back of the magazine to prevent snagging the notch for the magazine release. For the Glock 43 Magazine, insert GTUL the same way, but when removing, keep GTUL against the leading edge of the magazine to remove and prevent catching the notch for the mag release.

THE GLOCK 42/43 GTUL WILL NOT WORK WITH GLOCK 43X/48 MAGAZINES.
